Our Story — Serving SoCal Since 2008

Rob & Martin Appliance Repair was founded in 2008 by two childhood friends from Torrance, California — Robert "Rob" Galindo and Martin Espinoza. Fresh out of vocational school with certifications in appliance technology, they started the business out of Rob's garage with a single toolbox, a beat-up pickup truck, and a lot of determination.

What began as a word-of-mouth operation in the South Bay quickly grew into one of the most trusted appliance repair companies in Southern California. Over the decades, Rob and Martin built a reputation on one simple principle: treat every customer's home like it's your own.

Today, Rob & Martin Appliance Repair operates a team of fully licensed, certified, and background-checked technicians serving Torrance, the South Bay, Orange County, and the greater Los Angeles area. We're still family-owned, still community-focused, and still run by the same two guys who started it all those years ago.

Robert "Rob" Galindo — Co-Founder & Lead Technician

Rob has been fixing appliances since before most of our customers were born. With over 17 years in the field, he specializes in refrigeration systems and high-end brand repairs (Sub-Zero, Viking, Wolf). Rob personally trains every new technician we hire and insists on the highest standards of workmanship.

Martin Espinoza — Co-Founder & Operations Manager

Martin handles the business side of things — scheduling, customer service, parts sourcing, and making sure every job gets done right and on time. Martin is fluent in both English and Spanish and is often the first friendly voice you'll hear when you call us. Se Habla Español!

Q: How quickly can you come out?

A: In most cases we can schedule same-day or next-day service. If you call before noon, there's a good chance we can have a tech at your door that afternoon. Call (424) 666-0085 and we'll let you know right away.

Q: Do you charge a service/diagnostic fee?

A: We charge an $85 diagnostic fee for coming out and assessing the problem. This fee is waived when you proceed with the repair. We'll always give you the full quote before starting any work.
